Counterterrorism NYC 2010: Are You Being Targeted?

The must-attend conference for 2010 to understand the new faces of terrorism and how to protect our interests.

On March 4th, and 5th, 2010, join a distinguished panel of expert faculty who will provide the latest and most relevant counterterrorism training for New York City and other major metropolitan centers. The two-day seminar will prepare security professionals, first responders, businesses, academics, and other citizens to detect and counter terrorist probing, planning, and activities directed against their assets.

Training will focus on improving their ability to predict, identify,
deter, and mitigate terrorist activities including:

  • Understanding the new faces of terrorism
  • Anticipating and thwarting terrorist acts against domestic and international targets
  • Using lessons learned from previous and attempted terrorist acts to change the way participants conduct their mission and lifestyles to better align themselves with how terrorists conduct their activities.

  • Dr. James Forrest, Combating Terrorism Center, West Point and Director of Terrorism Studies at the United States Military Academy
  • Representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation Counterterrorism Unit
