Keith O'Brien is a Distinguished Cisco Systems Engineer working out of the NYC Office and a board member of NYC InfraGard for six years. Keith has been very involved in the InfraGard program and helped to Sheppard it along. InfraGard today holds a number of its events during the year at Cisco systems in New York City where the reception is simply outstanding....those on the board call Cisco our second home.
Keith was instrumental in focusing our Alliance on Network Security issues during our July 21/22, 2009 Capture the Flag event which was an incredible success and the impetus to our exploring an unsolicited grant request from DHS. While the grant request is still in formulation....the results in the CTF are still coming in with a wide number of positive testimonials. Keith O'Brien is a Distinguished Systems Engineer at Cisco Systems where he specializes in secure network design, network forensics and incident response. He works with both enterprise and federal agencies on developing best practices in network security. Prior to Keith joining Cisco in 1996 he worked at MCI Telecommunications where he designed global data and voice networks for large enterprise customers. In addition to his responsibilities at Cisco, Keith also is a visiting professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT and an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at NYU's Polytechnic Institute. Keith holds a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College and a Masters of Science in Telecommunications Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Keith also holds CCIE, CISSP and SANS GCIH certifications. |

Andrew Herlands

Andrew Herlands is a Chief Security Officer and Director of Worldwide Services for Application Security, Inc., a leading provider of database security and compliance solutions. He brings more than two decades of experience creating security and compliance solutions that address complex business requirements. In his current role, he leads AppSec's global consulting, systems engineering and support operations teams, while also leading the company's internal security strategy, policies, and tactical efforts. He has overall responsibility for security strategy, planning, training and deployment of data security a data compliance solutions to meet the needs of organizations around the world. He is a member of AppSec's Executive Management Team, and has held several other positions of increasing responsibility while working at the company. Mr Herlands provides guidance to organizations facing a wide range of regulatory, compliance, and security requirements, and he also shares his insight and knowledge by participating on panels, and speaking at conferences such as InfoSec and the RSA Security Conference. Just prior to Application Security, Mr. Herlands served as a Director of Network Security Solutions at SafeNet (Nasdaq: SFNT), as well as a number of other positions that helped build the organization to being a true "global leader in information security". Mr. Herlands is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, has received extensive security technology training, and is a member of ISC2, ISSA, and ASIS International. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communications from Ithaca College, and currently lives in New York City. |

Frances Schlosstein

Frances Schlosstein is President of ‘Entrepreneurial Excellence’, her own marketing and business development consulting firm. She brings 25 years of experience to InfraGard, the last eight in the technology and security sectors. Prior to starting Entrepreneurial Excellence, Frances was vice president of sales, marketing and business development for the U.S. operations of Webwasher A.G., a security spin-off of Siemens Corporation. During her five-year tenure, she built partnerships and closed deals in the enterprise, education and government sectors, that contributed to the acquisition of Webwasher by Cyberguard, a publicly traded U.S. company, in 2004. In 2005, Cyberguard was acquired by Secure Computing. For two of those years Frances headed the U.S. operations for Webwasher.
Frances has extensive experience in the Financial and Healthcare sector. As a vice president for the CitiBank AAdvantage credit card group, she headed several initiatives resulting in new products and partnerships. At PNC bank she lead the marketing team that consolidated and branded four mutual fund companies into the Compass Capital Funds, now BlackRock Funds.
During her 10 years of marketing/agency experience Schlosstein consulted and supervised marketing and business development programs for clients that included Fidelity Investments, Universal Health Services, Mercy Health System, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. In addition to business success, several of these programs won national awards from the American Marketing Association and the Public Relations Society of America. Frances Schlosstein resides in New York City, is active on two other boards, and has a deep commitment to community service and national security. |

David Stern

David is a security professional born from the dot-com era of the late 90's. Graduating from Polytechnic University, he joined as one of the first employees at a startup that developed content management and firewall appliances for the educational market. From there, David moved to a number of niche information security consulting shops, quickly rising to leadership roles, pushing the practice of information security to the bleeding edge.
In the past few years, David has held positions in both corporate and government sectors, leading teams from the front, pushing for excellence. Today, David is the IT Security manager responsible for engineering in the City of New York. When not responding to security incidents, David can be found responding to fire and EMS incidents in his local volunteer fire department. |

Dave Chen

Dave Chen is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP, ISSAP, ISSMP) with the ISC2.org and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) with ISACA organization. Dave have over 25 years experience in information systems and over 10 years focused in the area of information security. He is one of the founding members of the New York Metro InfraGard Members Alliance.
He is currently the Director, Information Security Operations working for the CISO of DoITT, City of New York. He manages a team that screens critical security changes affecting citywide and Internet applications, managing the perimeter security of the City of New York, controlling extranet and business partner access into the City's networks, and responding to security incidents and publishing vulnerability alerts on an ongoing basis; responsible for documenting security procedures, supervising staff, scheduling resources, and managing ongoing projects and programs within the security area; responsible for change management and participates in strategic planning of the deployment of information security technologies and program enhancements.
Dave is a member of ISSA, ISC2, ISACA, CSI and HTCIA. Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from City College of New York and his MBA from Pace University. |

Tom Mustac

Tom Mustac is an experienced IT executive with a diverse background. He holds MBAs in Information Technology Management and International Marketing from Iona College and a bachelors degree in Economics from Queens College, among other academic achievements. He holds the ISACA certifications of CISM and CISA. Tom has extensive and diverse experience in the audit, security and business continuity space. He has spent the past two decades in luxury industries, exceeding the expectations of consumers and delivering value. He is currently employed by one of the worlds premier automobile manufacturers as their IT Manager responsible for eCommerce and CRM.
Tom is detail oriented, organized, highly motivated and dedicated. He tirelessly strives to further his profession and improve the community. He is active in community organizations and supports his local schools and places of worship. This includes but is not limited to the NYM-Infragard, NYC OEM CERT Program, FBI NYC Citizens Academy, NYC Dept of Education as well as various charities. At the NYM-Infragard, Tom serves to help promote the organizations mission of educating our members and promoting the protection of our nations critical infrastructure. Mark Jarrett

Mark Jarrett Dr. Mark Jarrett serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Staten IslandUniversity Hospital. He also serves as the Designated Institutional Official for Graduate Medical Education at the hospital and as Chairman of the Graduate Medical Education Committee.
Academically, Dr. Jarrett holds the faculty position of Clinical Professor of Medicine and Clinical Associate Dean at Downstate Medical School, SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn and Professor of Medicine at the newly approved Hofstra Medical School.
Additional to his responsibilities at SIUH, Dr. Jarrett has been a practicing physician on Staten Island for 28 years, specializing in Rheumatology and is treating patients with a spectrum of conditions that include Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and related autoimmune disorders. He was appointed SIUH Director of Rheumatology in 1982 and held the post until 1999. Prior to coming to Staten Island, Dr. Jarrett was on the full time faculty and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at northwestern University Medical School in Chicago.
Dr. Jarrett earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1975, having graduated from Muhlenberg College, PA, in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He subsequently earned an MBA from Wagner College in 1994. Even with his busy schedule, Dr. Jarrett finds time to pursue research interests on issues related to quality of care.
The Doctor is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and in Geriatrics. He is also certified by the Americana Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review. His professional affiliations include Fellowship in the American College of Physicians, the American Collegeof Rheumatology and the New York Academy of Medicine. He is a past President of the Richmond County Medical Society. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Disaster Preparedness Committee of the Medical Society and has been Principal Investigator of three NYCDOHMH grants developing the Richmond County Emergency Preparedness Healthcare Coalition.

Jose Sandoval

Jose Sandoval For the last 20 years, Jose F. Sandoval has enjoyed a distinguished career in corporate security, loss prevention, retail management and recently brought that expertise to his own company. Before launching Sandoval Consulting Group LLC, Jose was the Director of Loss Prevention and Facilities for Elie Tahari where he led the effort to develop a company wide program in the areas of Operations, Security/LP, Facility and Purchasing. Prior to that in the wake of 9/11,Jose was Director of Corporate Loss Prevention for Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. In this role Jose was instrumental in establishing policies and procedures for safety, security, emergency preparedness guidelines and a crisis management program. He was also Director of Loss Prevention for Brooks Brothers, after serving as Corporate Manager of Loss Prevention in charge of upgrading and implementing loss prevention policies for the-then 150 retail and outlet stores, three manufacturing plants, a direct market facility and a distribution center. Previously, he held a variety of senior positions at the world renowned FAO Schwarz firms NY Flag ship store. At FAO Schwarz, Jose provided protection for all VIP/Celebrities and coordinated all special events.
Jose is also actively involved in the retail security community and law enforcement liaison. In 2001, he was appointed by the office of the Chief of Department of New York City Police as a board member for APPL which is known today as NYPD Shield. In this role, Jose chaired the efforts in building a synergy between the private sector (retail security) and public sector. Jose was also the first non-officer of a retail corporation to be elected by its board members as President of Retail Loss Prevention League (RLPA) where he served for one term. Other positions held by Jose in RLPA included Federal and Law Enforcement Liaison and Communication and Intelligence Committee.Jose also served on the advisory board for United States Mutual Association.
Jose has been presented with various awards, one in 1997 by RLPA as the loss prevention person of the year. Another award was presented in 2002 by the United States Secret Service recognizingJose for his efforts and contributions to the Law Enforcement community.
Jose has appeared on News Interviews by WNBC –Channel 4 News, as an expert in Security and Law Enforcement Partnerships, a Hispanic International Publication in the aftermath of September 11th,and was interviewed by producers of 60 Minutes on Organized Retail Crime Theft Rings.

William H. Murray

William H. Murray a management consultant and trainer in information assurance and associate professor at the Naval Post Graduate School. He is a Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) and chairman of the governance and Professional Practices Committees of (ISC)2, the certifying body. He has more than fifty years experience in information technology and more than forty years in security. During more than fifty-five years with IBM his management responsibilities included development of access control programs, advising IBM customers on security, and the articulation of the IBM security product plan. He is the author of the IBM publication Information System Security Controls and Procedures. He has been recognized as a founder of the systems audit field and by InformationSecurity magazine as a Pioneer in Computer Security. In 1999 he was elected a Distinguished Fellow of the Information Systems Security Association. In 2007 he received the Harold F.
