Our next meeting for InfraGard will be this coming APRIL 11th, 2012 focused on COMPUTER FORENSICS. This event is done in partnership with HTCIA and INMA (InfraGard's National Board). The Lifelock Company will make a presentation at this event during the lunch hour concerning ID Theft along with TLC's Cake Boss. |

NYC INFRAGARD CYBER CRIME STUDY / INFRAGARD ALLIANCE 2012 ELECTIONS
Our study is complete and the first report should be coming out in about three weeks. The Alliance has an election every two years. We have a Nomination Committee in place and have setup our Linked-In Group, sub-group for Elections 2012 Discussions. |

INFRAGARD WEEKLY CONFERENCE CALL
InfraGard holds a weekly conference call here in NYC and if you're a member you are certainly welcomed to join the call. We have approximately 28 registered people for the call. With a approximately a dozen making routine appearances on it. If you'd like to be added to the weekly call for industry insights, innovative product ideas, dynamic give and take...call the office at 516-216-1869 and we'll get you signed up. There is homework if you're going to be a regular on the call.

INFRAGARD INTERNSHIPS
2012 provides us with interns working on a number of different fronts. Most importantly to all of you are Cyber Security students. They have identified a "Point of Sale" system and will be doing a forensic examination on it, then reconfigure and put it back into circulation and maybe even sell it. We have three other interns working on !) bookkeeping, 2) asset management, 3) Management reporting. We are looking for interns with strong multi-media backgrounds/interests, familiarity with iMovie, Final Cut pro will be very, very helpful. We have four students working on our homicide project, putting a face on the victims of murder in NYC. |
