Our Infrastructure

Individuals protect our country!
One person can make a difference for all.

Since our nation is comprised of systems (people, businesses, buildings, highways, farms, communications, etc.), it is important to sustain and continually improve system operations.

One way to ensure these systems continue to benefit the people, is to protect them from natural disaster, human error or terror; and set up recovery actions in the event misfortune can not be avoided.

The protection of our nation is a collaborative effort in which all citizens hold some level responsibility. Your contribution/s are absolutely invaluable.

mTA slogan

If you see Something, Say Something…

The NYC MTA slogan can be found on TV, the internet, trains, buses, depots, stations across NYC.

InfraGard members should pay attention to unaccompanied bags, suspicious activity like wearing an over coat in the summer and other activities that could possibly alert law enforcement to conduct which taken together might reveal criminal behavior.

WORKPLACE PRACTICES

Those members who work in the back offices of information technology departments need to know they too are high value participants in the protection of our nation.

These professionals understand electronic networks, the value of the information which is transmitted over them, and the importance of protecting the privacy of intellectual property, personal data, product and business information.

IT professionals and their respective companies should maintain a high standard of computer, electronic, personnel, and physical securities to ensure data is available, authentic, and secure.

fbi/law enforcement

Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity are the credo of the FBI and are incorporated into the InfraGard Program.

The FBI and law enforcement understand that our citizens need to be participants in the success of there mission.

If you see something, say something.

Contact the FBI, local law enforcement, if you witness suspicious activity. We would rather you be totally mistaken, than for another incident to happen here in NYC or elsewhere on our nation's soil.
